Intro’s Gibson Selection
Gibson London was found in 1964 and from “Carnaby Street to Savile Row a sharp flamboyant style was emerging”. The style is based around London’s elegance with an urban and cultured touch. Gibson have embodied the British culture while containing luxury with elegance to produce only the smartest and finest clothing. From 1964 until 2015 Gibson only use relaxed, softer and traditional British tailoring.
This Gibson grey suit is a classic example of the London culture fashioned into a suit. The men’s blazer has a distinctive design with multi-coloured buttons. It has a two tone windowpane check and three pockets located on the outside of the blazer. Gibson have chosen a regular tailored fitting, notch lapel with a 100% wool lining.
As the waistcoat is part of a men’s three piece suit the colour and look of the waistcoat are the same. The small details of the clothing are extremely similar including the windowpane check, three pocket design and tailored fitting. Gibson have also made the waistcoat adjustable making it perfect for comfort and style.
The consistency runs through to the pants of the Gibson check three piece suit. The pants offer a typical hook and button fastening with turn up cuffs at the bottom of the trouser legs.
The three piece suit is a simple cornflower blue marriott men’s suit. The shade of thread on the lapel and pockets are slightly different making the men’s blazer have distinctive features again. Unlike the Gibson Check Three Piece suit there are four pockets located on the blazers compared to its three.
The blazer for Gibson’s Seasonal suit is incredibly smart. The colour, fitting, design and really produce a stunning look. Each individual component of the three piece suit can be combined with either smart or casual clothing to bring an alternative look.
Gibson have opted for a slim fit design with the trousers to this suit. Slim fit is a great way to look and feel smart. The trousers are a standard design, but the style and colour really do capture your attention.
