Creative Recreation was born in 2002 out of Orange County, California. The driving force being Creative Recreation was a sense of dissatisfaction with what the footwear industry was offering at the time. The two choices seemed to be either a dress shoe that could be worn with a suit, or a sports trainer that did not fit an evolving lifestyle. There was no balance between the two for young professionals, hence the challange was set for the founders. Creative Recreation aim to provide footwear for all occasions. From canvas boat shoes that can be worn with shorts in the summer to hiking boot style high-top trainers that are perfect for the winter. Creative Recreation pride themselves on creating high quality footwear using carefully sourced materials, combined with a solid knowledge of the footwear industry.
