ASH

ASH shoes was created in 2001 in Italy by Patrick Ithier. The shoes are
quickly gaining a following for their expert craftsmanship and ultimately
unique designs. The range each season features sportswear along with high
end shoes all designed by Ithier and his extensive production team. ASH
shoes provide the customer with a sense of style and creativity, look
closely and you will notice each shoes individually features the ASH
handwriting. Each pair of ASH shoes provides the longevity needed for
comfort and long lasting wear, the leathers used are a high standard that do
not lose their effect with wear but gains are the shoes are designed to last
and look better with age. ASH shoes will not only give you pleasure to wear
but will become a staple item in your shoe collection.
The most popular of the men's collection each season comes in the form of
the Vincent ASH trainer. This sell out trainer comes in a range of colours,
styles and materials from denim to canvas and leather - every ASH men's
range features a Vincent shoe. The main design featured on this trainer is
the high-top boot with buckled straps and contrast toe cap usually in white
or cream. The toe cap also nearly always distressed for the lived in look
that compliments all of ASH shoes.
At Intro we usually buy around six pieces from the ASH collection every
season, these are mainly trainers. We find that the ASH men's speciality
comes in the form of trainers as they are practical for most occasions with
the smart but distressed feeling coming from each pair of shoes. Intro have
been buying Ash men's trainers for over 4 years now and are confident in the
ASH brand.

Here at Intro we have reviewed a pair of the popular Vectro trainers from
the Spring/Summer 2010 collection -

Out of all the ASH trainers from this season, I decided to pick the Vectro
trainer, this comes in two colours either denim or black so I decided with
go with the trends and chose the denim. Now that the sun is shining these
trainers are practical and easy to wear with most of my wardrobe. The Vectro
trainer itself is a high-top style trainer with brass eyelets all around.
This Ash trainer looks like your average lace-ups but as I sneakily found out
you can arrange the laces around the eyelets for that just thrown on look,
tuck them in and hide the rest of the evidence then slip your feet into the
trainers and zip them up. Easy! These Ash shoes are smart/casual like the
rest of the range you can wear them day or night, I chose to wear them all
weekend, from the BBQ in the garden, to football across the street then down
at the pub later on.
All in all I would give this pair of Ash trainers an A+ for all around
comfort, a funky look and value for money. I'm also thinking of buying them
in the black too
